ISU's Facilities Planning and Management Organization Uses State Award as Guidepost

Summary: In 1997, Iowa State University’s facilities planning and management operation (FP&M) began a 12-year journey to achieve world-class status. FP&M uses the Baldrige-based Iowa Recognition for Performance Excellence (IRPE) criteria as an assessment umbrella for its continuous improvement activities. IRPE feedback and results serve as a measure for assessing progress. Along the journey, FP&M has earned one bronze IRPE award, four silver awards, and, most recently, a gold-level award.
