AIMC Internal Consulting Survey Report

Summary: ASQ's 2011 Future of Quality study indicated an expanding role for quality management within organizations and the need for new skills. An Association of Internal Management Consultants (AIMC) benchmarking survey also indicated an increasing need for consulting competencies in a wide range of functions. Discussions to explore this need in quality management resulted in a new joint survey. Results of more than 800 responses from three ASQ Divisions and the ASQ Six Sigma Forum are presented here.
