Two Perspectives on How to Work From Anywhere

Summary: Working from home has many obvious advantages, but there are challenges as well. One of the biggest problems is being able to make a clean break from work. Some tips to help achieve a balance include establishing a work time schedule, becoming involved in non-work related community activities, taking short breaks throughout the day, and making time for personal activities and leisure time. Organizations uncomfortable with remote management will find it is not much different from managing people on site. The four main keys to managing remote employees are: managing by results, improving communication, using technology to handle meetings and schedules, and providing feedback and support.
