Calibration Designs for Machines with Carry-Over and Drift

Summary: Continuous-flow analysers (like the Auto Analyser and its current version SMAC) require individual calibration to verify the shape of their calibration curves, of the amount of sample-to-sample carryover, and of the extent of linear and quadratic time-drift within each sequence of (46) analyses. A sequence of 46 trials, using five calibrating concentrations is given which permits simultaneous estimates of all these attributes of the system.
