Evaluation of Inspectors in Sensory Tests - Qualification by Geometrical Method and Classification by Bayesian Diagnosis Rule
Summary: It is important in sensory tests to check the qualifications of the inspectors who judge the quality of products. This paper presents a simple geometrical method for qualification of the inspectors. Some contributions to pattern recognition methodology, especially a Bayesian diagnosis rule for classification of inspectors, are also described and illustrated.
