An Approach to Compensate for Uncertainty in Knowledge of Inspector Error

Summary: The problem of coping with inspector error when the inspector error rate is unknown is addressed in this paper. Currently no methods to analyze this problem have appeared in the literature. The results of this research indicate that some plans are definitely superior to others in controlling a specified overall deviation from the design requirements.
