Analysis of Means Tables Using Mathematical Processors
Summary: [This abstract is based on the author's abstract.] The analysis of means (ANOM) procedure is a graphical method for testing for differences between the means of several populations. An ANOM chart usually gives the same result as a control chart, but its decision limits depend on printed tables or specialized software programs. New formulas for ANOM constants are proposed that may be easily calculated on readily available mathematical processors. The approach makes ANOM constants accessible, portable, and unrestricted as applied to significance level, sample size, and number of populations.
