A Methodology for Selecting Representative Input Regions for Accelerated Testing

Summary: [This abstract is based on the authors' abstract.] An approach to the selection of a representative region from multiple input influences based upon input (output) influences simulation is described. The concept is applied to real-life analysis techniques to identify the characteristics of the critical input (output) processes, making it possible to determine one field region that is a typical system characteristic of many other field influences. The approach, which results in successful accelerated testing, is demonstrated in four basic steps.
