A Relationship between Six Sigma and ISO 9000:2000

Summary: [This abstract is based on the authors' abstract.]Six Sigma methodology is proposed as a means of improving the ISO 9000:2000 standard. The approach focuses on integrating the Six Sigma DMAIC cycle with each step of the PDCA process approach as a way to achieve optimal results in quality progress and customer satisfaction. Some tools and training examples are discussed.
