Assessing the Impact From Information Systems Quality

Summary: [This abstract is based on the authors' abstract.]Few studies have attempted to assess the relationships of information system quality with its main outcomes. This study explores these relationships with possible outcomes proposed by various researchers. A more integrative model is considered that includes system quality as a determinant of the extent of system usage, the benefits derived, and the impact on the user's job. Tests on a sample of 228 systems verify the importance of these relationships. Managerial recommendations and opportunities for further research are discussed.
