The Nonlinear Approach to Linear Calibration Intervals

Summary: [This abstract is based on the authors' abstract.] The nonlinear approach to single use calibration curves produces intervals when the classical approach fails. Although intervals are slightly shorter, the coverage rate is acceptable. Advantages are that the intervals are centered at the maximum likelihood estimator and they can be obtained using any standard statistical system containing nonlinear regression methods.
