A Strategy of Searching Active Factors in Supersaturated Screening Experiments

Summary: [This abstract is based on the authors' abstract.] Use of a stepwise selection procedure in supersaturated screening experiments has been shown to be ineffective because it selects too many inactive factors and misses some active factors. A new strategy is proposed based on the concept of staged dimensionality reduction. The method, which is simple to implement, is demonstrated with simulated and real data.
