Summary: [This abstract is based on the author's abstract.] A case study examines the effort of a multinational telecommunications company to implement reviews and inspections to reduce costs. This was accomplished by reducing time to market and improving software quality. Some of the innovations include peer reviews, use of multinational process teams to evaluate global competence, accommodation of cultural differences, and infrastructure support.
