Resource Path Testing: A Framework for Design of System Testing

Summary: [This abstract is based on the author's abstract.] Proper system testing can detect unforeseen failures in simultaneous use of multiple personal computers connected through a local area network. Resource path testing (RPT), a systematic strategy and framework for system testing, focuses on weak points of the system/software. Once these weaknesses are identified, they may be classified into several types to facilitate test design. Appropriate RPT procedures and tools allow application to the entire system testing, particularly configuration and stress testing.
