Combining Computational Fluid Dynamics Analysis Data with Experimentally Measured Data

Summary: [This abstract is based on the authors' abstract.] This article offers an approach to reducing time and cost of experimentation in large wind tunnels by combining computer simulations of fluid dynamics test models with small sets of experimental data. To demonstrate the viability of this technique, the article compares experimental data with that from the combined approach. The combined approach showed no statistically significant differences from the complete experimental data set.
