Software for Weibull Inference

Summary: [This abstract is based on the author's abstract.] Exact interference for Weibull distribution parameters requires simulation; tables exist in the literature for only a limited number of sample sizes and percentiles. Pivotal.exe calculates interference for user-selected sample sizes and percentiles. The software also applies to series systems of identical Weibull distributed components and for sudden death test results. Output from the program can be used to determine operating characteristic curves, confidence intervals and prediction intervals.
