Siemens VDO Guadalajara Captures Bronze at Team Excellence Award Competition

Summary: Siemens VDO in Guadalajara, Mexico, an international provider of automotive electronics and mechatronics, launched its Six Sigma initiative in February 2004 with Champion training. Since then, Six Sigma professionals have completed nearly 200 projects in all facets of the business. Company employees quickly accepted Six Sigma concepts and were eager to benchmark their progress against the best quality teams worldwide. Siemens VDO earned international recognition when the Mack Trucks Plant Failures Reduction Team won the Bronze Award in the 2006 ASQ Team Excellence Competition after moving into the finals as the Mexico Partner Award winner.
