Improving the Workplace With Spirituality 1+1=5

Summary: Despite the gloom surrounding the present economic crisis, studies have shown that a positive workplace spirit is crucial to employees’ participation and quality output. Over the years, businesses have endeavored to provide employees with a sense of empowerment and ownership, but today supervisors and employees alike are burdened with concerns from inside and outside the company. The author asks that you envision a workplace in a spiritual manner, not necessarily in a religious sense, but in tune with the doctrines of the world’s great religions. Five principles of spirituality are discussed that can improve the workplace environment and enhance one’s personal life as well.
