The Exchange in Brief

Summary: The Exchange is a four-step workplace conflict resolution system. The process involves four stages: private meetings between the arbitrator and each party in the dispute, development of an Issue List to turn a collection of arguments into a list of topics to resolve, a joint session with all parties and the facilitation of problem-solving. The Exchange seeks to resolve a conflict by addressing the emotional issues at its root before the participants become volatile or intractable.
