The Process Enneagram©: A Tool to Help in the Transformation of Organizations

Summary: The author created the Process Enneagram in 1992 to assist in improving the cost-effectiveness and safety of a manufacturing facility. The Process Enneagram can be used to describe the patterns and processes of any organization's activities and act as an aid in discovering solutions to complex problems that multiple people have come together to solve. The Process Enneagram connects a number of elements together in multiple patterns and combinations, defining processes such as organizational identity, accomplishment of work, and self-organizing leadership. A Process Enneagram workshop involves coming together and using the Enneagram to guide conversations and map the results of dialogue. Results achieved by working with a Process Enneagram include identifying disparities between espoused and practical values, improving the safety and productivity of manufacturing plants, and reducing organizational budgets.
