ASQ Needs Transformational Change

Summary: Transformational change can mean many things, but the core of it lies not in the inputs, instead it lies in the results. A process can be changed and still achieve the same results as before, but transformational change seeks to change the results. This type of change is not a continuous process, it is a sudden and deliberate change that can be difficult to undertake, but worth it to improve results. The American Society for Quality (ASQ) is in need of transformational change. Though the ASQ is a global society with many excellent initiatives and a commitment to keeping up with new trends, it still lacks the growth in members and revenue that marks a stable and healthy society. Thus ASQ's CEO, William Troy, calls for transformational change in the organization to achieve better results.
