The Future of Quality

Summary: The future of quality can be hard to predict, but most agree that change and adaptation are necessary to keep quality relevant. A holistic approach to quality could be the next step to innovation, by focusing on solving problems that affect organizations as a whole, rather than tackling smaller, more isolated issues. There are four critical components that make a holistic approach work, and those are: involvement of management, involvement of the best-performing people in an organization, support and utilizing multiple methodologies. One size does not fit all for quality, especially for holistic quality practices.
