Bayesian Reliability, Availability, and Maintainability Analysis for Hardware Systems

Summary: [This abstract is based on the authors' abstract.] Markov models are useful in hardware reliability, availability, and maintainability (RAM) modeling, especially when the system to be analyzed may be modeled with some of the states in the on configuration while the rest are off. A RAM analysis of such systems within a Bayesian framework is considered for both short-term and long-term performance.
