Design and Modeling Strategies for Mixture-of-Mixtures Experiments

Summary: [This abstract is based on the authors' abstract.] Major components in mixture-of-mixtures experiments are the components that are themselves mixtures of some other, minor components. A new model is proposed called the major-minor model. A strategy is provided for designing much smaller mixture-of-mixture experiments than supported by existing models. The major-minor is applied to a mixture-of-mixtures experiment used to formulate a new potato crisp.
